I hope that you give paper piecing a try 🙂
Spellbinders has some of the best dies for paper piecing. I find the process of die cutting and piecing these arrangements together to be very relaxing.
For this card I used the following supplies:
Spellbinders Dies:
- Be Bold Blooms Etched Dies
- Scrolled Punch & Pierce Plate Etched Die
Spellbinders Paper Colors:
- Peach Cobbler
- Raindrop
- Fruit Punch
- Pink Sand
- Purple Mist
- Rain Forest
- Fern
- Alabaster
- Sunkissed
I used Bearly Art glue with a fine tip to glue the pieces together. I didn’t put the glue all the way to the ends so that I could curl the edges of the flowers and leaves a little bit to add some dimension. I also added some foam tape to the largest flower to pop it up a bit for even more interest. I cut the panel out of Raindrop so that it would peak through the cover die. I then glued the panel to a white card base made with 110 lb Solar White Neenah cardstock.
