This is the time of year when it is good to have hand sanitizer on hand. This is a very easy to make hand sanitizer that is convenient to keep in your purse or pocket and also makes a fashion statement! I don’t know about you, but I have never seen anyone else with a fancy one of a kind hand sanitizer!
It is made with a decorative napkin and Gloss Modge podge. You will need to separate the decorative part of the napkin from the white background for a more transparent effect. The process can be kind of messy applying with the modge podge but it is fun to peel the glue off your hands (Remember doing that as kids???)
You will need to apply several coats allowing sufficient time to dry between layers. Using a small scissors, trim excess away as you fit the napkin around the case. You will also want to leave the spot open for the stopper so that you refill with rubbing alcohol when empty.
To add a little extra shine, rub wit the gold metallic wax when completely dry. You could also add glitter glue, vinyl decorations, ribbon or any other creative items to embellish.
Another option would be to decorate with fancy paper or a photo prior to applying the Mod Podge. The possibilities are endless!
This would make a unique gift during cold season or something that could sell at a craft fair.
