Sometimes creative storage solutions show up where you’d least expect. Recently I was shopping at a store which was going out of business. They had sold cards and had rotating cardholders that they were selling for an incredibly low price. I thought this would be a great way to store my thinlet dies as well as precut 5 x 7 paper in multiple colors. What a great way to view and have access to the dies or papers just by rotating – like a lazy Susan, but for card makers! I bought two of them and they are working great taking up very little space.
The other item that has proved to be great for large Big Diez by Sizzix is an old VHS video tape storage stand. I found this at a garage sale for only a couple of dollars.
The moral of the story is that sometimes we need to be just as creative with our craft supply organization as we are with our creations!
