On July 22, 2023 Altenew hosted a terrific crafting event at the headquarters in Syracuse, New York. It was a lemonade party theme which was so much fun! It was great to see how fellow crafters got into the spirit wearing colorful and festive outfits. Jen who is one of the owners of Altenew had on a lemon dress which was amazing!
We received a box filled with a generous amount of supplies including stamps, stencils, brushes, fine liner pens, ink and patterned paper. We had so much fun and learned so much as we took classes with Jen, Tasnim, and Lydia learning different techniques with stencils, stamping, watercolor and fine liners. Altenew then provided a great lunch and we had a chance take some pictures.
We then had a great meet and greet where we mingled with the Altenew board and other crafters. We also got to try new products for upcoming releases.
For an extra bonus, on the Friday before the event we went on a tour of the warehouse which was fascinating. Everything was so well organized and it was so interesting to see all the goodies in bins that will find a new home in our future orders. 🙂
