The Cricut Maker is a fantastic machine for saving time and gives you the ability to quickly cut intricate designs that could not be done by hand. Well, I suppose the patterns could be cut by hand but it would take many, many hours! I found that it is still a pain to remove all of these small scraps from your matt – and the Cricut is actually supposed to save you time, right?! Well, I found a great solution that at least works great for me that is much faster than using the scraper. It’s a lint roller! Simply roll over the mat and the small pieces pick up quickly. When the roller is no longer sticky, simply tear off for a fresh sticky surface just like you do when using it as a lint remover! This particular set is less than $2.00 a piece and will last a long time, but you can use any kind that probably already have around the house somewhere.
